New 05' Psd

I Recently Purchased A 05' 6.0 It Has 9500 Miles On It . Is There Any Major Problems I Should Be Concerned About. It Has A Little Oil On The Bottom Of Trans Fill Tube, It Also Smokes Very Little When Starting Cold. I Had A 03' 7.3 And Never Should Have Gotten Rid Of It.this Truck Is Also A Pig Off The Line.

Yes they are pigs off the line... I have the same one, but with just the addition of a K&N, it improved greatly... Then I added the programmer (bully dog "triple dog") and the monster came to life...! I've got 25,000 miles on her and she's been doing just fine, with no major probs other than the cosmetic & trim type of stuff...

Congrats on the truck!

A pig off the line??? My 05 6.0L beat our 2000 Excursion that at the time had everything you could by from banks on it. I dont see how a stock 7.3L can run better than a 6.0L unless you have some highway gears in the 6.0L. With just an AiRaid intake 4" straight pipes and SCT custom tuner the 6.0L makes the Banks equiped 7.3L Excursion seem like a yugo! Maybe you should have the truck looked at? What your saying doesnt sound right. I would be asking the shop some questions.
