2003 oil supply tube o-ring
So I'm putting the truck together from doing head gaskets and decided to check the braided supply tube from the stand pipe to the high pressure oil rail. I found one of the o-rings inside the pipe was pretty much garbage and needs to be replaced.
Does anyone know if I can put just a regular o-ring inside the braided pipe or does it need to be something special? |

I believe it will be a metric o-ring since everything else is metric.

I would not play russian roulette with "an o ring that might work". Turbos are expensive.
Sent from my phone that somebody didn't help me get. |

Not turbo...its from the Stand Pipe to the High Pressure Oil rail under the valve covers. Its a early build 03. |

Oh, gotcha. Missed that, but still the same, I don't think you can match the durometer(hardness/softness) specs to prevent premature failure. Thats a failure that could leave you sitting on side the road.
