surging turbo...03 swapped to 06

Gentleman, I just did an 03 turbo swap into my 06. Drove for a couple days with no problem. This morning while driving, the turbo was surging badly...could hear the whistle up and down, up and down...truck runs smooth and no other known problems. I am going to clean the ebpv today for grins to see but am I looking at sticky veins or...vgt solenoid is good. Opinions from the gallery?

Suspect the VGT solenoid anyways. They can do this when they go bad and no rhyme or reason why it happens.

Did you swap yours over from the 06 turbo?

I was also suspect of the solenoid swap. I will swap them back also and see what the outcome before full removal.
