Egr delete code 470

I have a 2006 F350 6.0 with a few issues. I'm new here and looking for some help. I had the egr cooler pop a week before I was able to get the delete done. Was planning on doing it as a preventative maint thing. So anyway long story short, while in there did oil cooler, egr delete, water pump, and lots of extras to get some more life out of this workhorse. Also a week before the cooler gave out, I put on mrbp cat back 6" exhaust. Now I have a check engine light code 470. Also I have a noise not all the time, but if you spool up turbo and back off it makes anywhere from one to several short bursts. Sounds like in exhaust system. Also while at operating temp sparatically the heat will go cold for a few seconds and right back to hot. No change in gauge, full of coolant. All of this said truck seems to run like normal no loss of power or unusuall smoke. Seems like fuel mileage is in the tank, that's out of ordinary for this vehicle. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you so much.

Do you have a programmer? The noise you're describing appears to be what we in the 6.0 world refer to as a "turbo fart". Kind of a fluttering sound through the intake and does it when you get on the throttle and immediately let off?

Yes that's exactly it. I do not have any programmer, have been considering it.

Turbo vanes could be sticking causing noise and contributing to the code. Is the check engine light on or just setting a code?

We had turbo off when we did the delete and new cooler etc. turbo seemed to be fairly clean. Put on that update line on turbo. It only sets that code and light comes on after it does the noise several times. Can clear it an next several drive cycles may never do it. Usually at least 30 mile trips back n forth to work.

Can you take a video to capture the noise and post it?

Did you actually pull the turbo apart while it was off and check the unison ring inside?

Yes I will try and capture the noise next time it does it. No did not take turbo apart. Did not have any problems before cooler gave out. Only ran it for a few mins after it smoke. Just to load it on the trailer for my trusty 7.3 to haul it to the shop.

I've personally never had the vanes stick on mine but guys on here have taken them off with no problems and put them back on just to have to remove them again because the vanes stuck. What kind of boost numbers are you seeing?
