Need help in amarillo texas ASAP
My buddy is in amarillo texas right now and his 6.0 won't start... Looking for someone possibly in the area with AE or a CS or CTS to get pressure readings to figure it out.

Ok, so now that I am home.
175 injectors, head studs, power max turbo, built FICM and all the other goodies. Truck was professionally built and was the shop owners truck for a long time until my buddy finally got him to sell it. Took his buddy home. Jumped in his truck and it was hard to start. Drove home and he said it ran like crap like when the o-ring(s) in the injectors went bad several months ago, which at that time he put all new injectors in. Got home and shut it off went inside for a short time then came back out and now it wont start. It just sits there and cranks and try's to fire here and there. Went back to the stock tune and the same thing. Only things I can think of is the o-rings again, FICM or HPOP. |

i honestly agree with your conclusion.. its one of the three.. can you get oil pressure readings? and try testing the HPOP voltage... and how are the batteries?

He doesn't have anything that will read those... I tired already... He talked to the old owner/builder of the truck and it might be the CPS. Scanned and one of the code had something to do with memory?

Anyone? His truck is still down.
He got it to fire yesterday morning but.... He is now getting an EGR code, some memory code, P0683, his tow/haul light is flashing, shifting funny and the TC wont lock... And now it wont start again. |

Glow plug module problem. He talked to the builder of the truck and he thinks that it has a short and that it is making the PCM freak out. Going to put a new module in and see what happens.
