Power Steering

2005 F350 on 37's, I have gone threw 5 power steering pumps in the last year and a half. This pump just died today and it only lasted 5 months. All new suspension, ball joints, u joints, gear box, stabilizers and hydrobooster, I also flush the system every time i rifle in a new pump. I figure the big 37's kill the pump but i think they should last longer than a few months. Anybody else have any problems like this. I use to have problems where the steering would lock up but that went away after the last two pumps. I was thinking of replacing the power steering fluid cap, maybe its not letting the air pressure out like its suppose to. Anybody else that has any information would be appreciated.

subscribed...I would like to hear if anybody else has had this problem. I am running 37s with 8 in lift also its entire life, with 175,000 miles on original pump with no problems. Only problem I ever had was the ****ty factory style gearbox and pitman arms, updated to AGR performance gearbox (7.3 style) it has less splines solved pitman arm problem and steers 100 times better especially backing up trailers. Supposedly the stock gearbox they used for the 6.0s is insufficient for the weight especially if you back trailers a lot.
