Welcome! Who needs to go left anyway?! Sounds like your binding good! Do you have a steering stabilizer? Seen them bind on the open stroke. Could also be a u-joint/hub problem...however you usually only see that on old trucks.

Do you have towing on your auto insurance???? Just a thought that it might be a good idea (for your own safety) to have it towed to the dealer!!!!!!!

NEVER be seen towing your FORD.
Rent a box trailer and haul it in that so none of those Dodge guys can see it being towed.

This is a VERY gray area. They could have PO5'd it...which would have had ford pay part or all of it and you would have payed the rest (kinda like a deductable), but dealers use it in different ways. the dealer i work at is like most. They will do an AWA (after warranty adjustment) for customers just over, IF they are "good customers" meaning you spend money there. Services, oil changed, ETC are what it all boils down too. If you are a "loyal" customer, they will help you out with this sort of thing....

Not all dealers are like this, some just dont care about anything but $$$$, which means they are never gonna help you out. I personally wouldnt go back to that dealer IF you are a regular customer....If your not, not many dealers would have dont it for ya anyways....just thought i would throw this out there for some guys info...

Dealers annoy the crap out of me when they pull that. I would have run it through the front showroom of the dealership, jumped out, screamed "it wouldn't turn - that faulty part nearly killed me" and called my lawyer.......course I'd probably be in jail looking at an even larger repair bill.
