04 hard start even in warm temp.

04 4x4 excursion 6.0 Hard to start in any temp. Funny thing is if I plug the block heater in even in 85 degree temps it starts right up. I was thinking glow plugs but what stumped me was that it happens in hot temps. After running for 5 min or so it starts with no problems until it sits for 5 or six hours.

Your ficm is probably taking a hike. Load test your batteries and perform the ficm check procrdure. Get a monitor on that truck.
