Just got a dash boss, my eot is 225 in town and ect is 190. EOT seems a little high. Is it????? Did a BPD egr and ford oil cooler less than a 1 yr ago with new coolant ELC. Can my cooler be plugged again??? I have been having issues with puking coolant when climbing.

Sounds like a plugged oil cooler bud. The only right way to go is with a BPD oil cooler imho. You pay out your butt but you should never have to worry about it again.

Kendallcschm brings up a good point. Although Ford does not recommend it the Ford Gold coolant has known issues that most people agree causes the plugged oil coolers. You need a coolant such as Rotella ELC or Fleetrite (International's brand) ELC that does not have the same issues to plug up oil coolers.

Re: EOT at 225 in town!!???

Might be a stupid question... But did you check your coolant level?

Is it pouring white smoke after it starts up with the engine already warmed to operating temp?

Oil cooler is definitely clogged and if it has been that clogged for a while it's a good possibility it clogged and ruptured your egr cooler. BPD it up man go with a BPD oil cooler kit and egr cooler and call it good unless you have pushed a head gasket.
