I just got my F250 this past Friday. I hooked it up to a trail yesterday afternoon, an had no lights. No brake, no turn, no running. There is a camper hook up in the bed, I need to see if that one works. Is there a fuse or anything that could have blow, which would cause no power to my 7 way? I should test the 4 way while I am at it.

There is a trailer brake controler a couple of fuses and 2 relays in that circuit.
Also be shure you have a good ground between truck and trailer. Check all wireing to the back and the connectors for corrosion. |

No power to tow hookup
Test and or replace fuses and relays related to trailer tow and battery charge. check your owners manual for the fuse locations. After Use a multimeter to test your connection on the back of ur truck. If still you got nada, then start following wires... The trailer tow wiring is pretty simple. Haynes manuals have diagrams for them as well good luck

Thanks guys, Ill be checking all the fuses and relays tonight at work. If nothing, Ill take it back to the dealership this weekend and make them fix it. I did check my bed plug, an seemed to have nothing there either.

In the front on the drivers side is a black fuse box. Put your turn signals on and see if the 2 blue relays are ticking. Mine were but they didn't send a strong enough signal to the trailer. They are a 5 prong relay. Hope this helps. It took me 3 days to figure this out.

I have ticking, I pulled them out an put them back, they seem kind of new. But they are also black not blue, could they be the wrong relay?

Mine ticked too but both didn't have enough power to work the trailer. Are you getting anything at the 7 pin? If not then you need to follow the wires from the 7 pin back. You can pull out the 7 pin with 2 snaps and check for current. If you have current then buy a new 7 pin.
