03 PSD cogging?

I just bought an 03 CC dually with the 6.0 PSD. Its got 140K miles on it. It seems that either the trans or the engine is cogging on inclines when your holding a steady speed. When it starts "cogging" and you give it a bit more gas, it stops. I dont know if "cogging" is the word to use here but it kind of like a sputtering.....but not..lol I cant tell if its the trans or engine causing this. any hep would be appreciated.

Also, my heater fan control only works on low and high. the middle 2 dots on the dial onlyt make the fan blow low, until its on its highest setting, which works. Is this a blower motor problem, or a switch/dial problem.

Thanks.

Dave

is ur sputtering audible or more a jerky feeling?? does it sound like air coming back through the air filter??

Your heater controll will probably be the switch itself or the blower motor resistor...unless you have automatic temp controll....then it gets more complicated...

Its just a jerky feeling. not extreme or anything...just noticable. I dont hear anything strange while its happening.

Ive just got the manual heater controls. I figured it would just be the contol itself, not the blower motor.

Thanks for the welcome. Im hoping I made the right choice with the 6.0.
I worked for a towing company with an entire fleet of 6.0 PSDs. Never had any of the problems with any of them. No blown headgaskets, no bad injectors...all the way up through 300K miles.
