Bullet Proofing Question

Today i found out i need head gaskets on my truck. The guy thats going to do it works at a local ford dealership and he said he would do everything for 3000.00 dollars on the side. I didnt get a list of everything yet, my wife was getting cranky after all the testing we did so it was time to go and i forgot the list but he said it will fix everything that causes these motors problems. I am going to call him and get the total breakdown of everything he's going to do so i will have it. I see everyone talking about bullet proofing on here but i was always turning a blind eye hoping i wouldnt have these kind of problems so soon. Does that sound like a fair price or is that to much money.

Fleetgaurd Restore and Fleetgaurd Restore + cooling system chemical flushes. Can get at local big rig truck dealers (they can order it) usually around $23-$30 a gallon, need one gallon of each.

Zerex EC-1 Rated ELC fully formulated coolant, 1 case* buy it at NAPA Part number is ZXED-1 usually between $13-$20 a gallon times 6 in a case.

Rotella T6 full synthetic oil

I would also suggest updated ported rockers OR at the very least new plastic fulcrums for them.
