Same thing happned to mine a couple months after I bought it. Pump gears were destroyed. Suncoast blamed the issue on bad trans tuning. The trans had to be taken out of the truck and sent back to thier shop in Florida. They arranged for my trans to be picked up by a carrier. They paid for shipping, and they fixed the trans under warranty. They only covered $350 of the labor to have the trans taken out and reinstalled leaving me with around $6-700 or so in labor, fluid, filter etc. Also my downtime was about a month once it was all said and done.
The paperwork that came with your trans specifically address's the programmer/ trans tuning. Saying "do not" tune your trans with any aftermarket programmer. They will shift fine without them.
I was running one of the most popular tunes by one of the most popular compaines when my trans went. All my tunes now have the pressures set to stock setting and I have firm shifts. A 1.5% increase was way to much on my trans. I swear tuning my trans is like learning Chinese to all the major tuning compaines. I just leave it alone until I can get it live tuned.
