No power at start up, help!

Ok so I have a 05 F250, I was noticing that the truck would surge at stops when warm also felt a lag on acceleration from a stop. Still started good. Then one day I went to start after running it for a while and it wouldn't start. Sounded like no fuel, let it set for a few minutes and was able to get it to start but no power when I stepped on pedal. Took the truck in and they said ficm was bad. Replaced it and all seemed ok, although I still felt a hesitation from a stop. Then again the starting problem, starts be just sputters then it clears up,rpms come up and then fine. Take it in and they replace #2 injector. A week later the problem is back where there is no power at initial start then it slowly clears and will go. I feel about a2-3 second lag on acceleration then it goes. I'm also noticing that at idle it seems to sound like its got a sputter at idle.
What can it be? I don't want to keep just throwing money at it, I want it fixed.
Thanks guys

Is the only time you have the starting issue is after it's warm and you shut it off then try to restart?

Yes it seems like that. 26 mile drive on fwy the park for say 1 1/2 hours it starts fine run it for 15 mins shut off let sit and will give me problems. I notice that the last few times it has been raining when the problem occurred. I had a bout when 4 stops and starts each one would be a start with no power all the same day. Since then no problem starting but a real noticeable lag from a stop on acceleration.
Thoughts?

Sounds like you're gonna have to start checking for a High Pressure Oil (HPO) leak. Hard to do without a scan tool or Auto Enginuity. To do it, you need to be able to command IPR valve closed while introducing air into ICP port.

im having almost the same issue...they replaced all 8 injectors and it ran fine for 2 days..now hardly any power but starts like im missing a lot of power...I took it back thinking a new injector was bad and they told me the egr cooler is blown...mine surges as well...not sure what to belive...my egr valve is a little wet but not soaked..what does your egr valve look like after you run the truck for 30 min?

if your egr valve is a "little" wet.. Its still a blown egr cooler, and needs to be yanked out and deleted or replaced... There should be no moisture on egr valve

You are totally rite.. I have a egr delete from rcd ..oil cooler and new ficm but.have.not installed them yet... so would a bad egr cooler cause the 6.0 to do what its doing?
