turbo leak

i cannot get a good seal from manifold to turbo and am getting fumes in cab.
its a bran new turbo and the old 1 leaked also, is there something i can try or do i need a new pipe

What method are you using to connect to the turbo? Are you just pulling it on and off or did you loosen the uppipes to do it? The proper way to connect the y pipe to the turbo is loosen the up pipes so that the y-pipe can move around freely. Then fit the y-pipe to the turbo as flush as possible and torque the clamp to proper spec. Then you tighten the y-pipes back up.

It might not be the turbo. It could be the up pipes are cracked at the bellows, most likely on the pass. side.
