No it doesn't mean your oil cooler failed, oil in your coolant would be oil cooler failure. Check your two sensors after letting it sit overnight, they should be within a degree or so. That is called a cold soak. Maybe your temp sensor is bad. Did you install a motorcraft thermostat?
Sent from my phone that somebody didn't help me get. |

Ya its a motorcraft, I'll check the sensor In the morning like you suggested. I'll make sure to check the coolant to.

I checked under the hood and there is some coolant that's leaked out of the degas. Does that mean anything, the motor has been studded. Maybe the cap?

Could be just overfilled..(the new max is the min on the bottle)
Cap Egr cooler Head gaskets. That is the order in which I would look at it. |

I have a bulletproof egr cooler and arp head studs so it shouldn't be either one of those right?

Yep all of the above, also have ipr coolant filter, I opened the cap and looked in with a flashlight the coolant is brand new elc and it seems to be a darkish brown now, but doesn't seem like oil. How obvious is the oil in the degas if oil cooler fails?
