Anyone ever had to replace and what are symptoms?

slow starts,no power till warmed up.....etc. Lots have replaced or rebuilt theirs.

I just replaced my FCIM with the BPD upgrade. It was pricey, but the install was easy (except for right side rear bolt!). I'm now running 58v, and the difference is noticeable. The customer service from BPD was excellent.
