Relay #304
Ok just got my ficm back today and slapped it, changed the oil and filter thought that also could be a no start. It's STILL AIN'T STARTING so I read some other forums and a couple of guys said it could be the 304 relay. Could that be it and can you just go buy it or can I pull another relay and check to see if that is a bad relay. And if so were can I buy the really or do I have to order it. I'm leaving for OK on Wednesday to go for a big hunting trip so PLEASE HELP or what else could it be it has two brand new batterys in it as we speak

Without a monitor everything is just a guess. The ficm relay is rarely a problem. How did your no start begin? Are you seeing any smoke? What year is your truck?

The no start began with bad batterys. Put brand new ones in and tried to start it up and it never started and just had th ficm rebuilt it is 2007 f250 6.0

Make sure all your ficm connectors clicked tight.

Just checked them again tight as can be no bent post still no crank

So you go to crank it one day and the batteries are dead, and it will not start. You replace the batteries, still no start. Then you replace the ficm, no start? Is this correct?

What is your sig? And I also changed all the filters fuel and oil fixing to pick up a new relay It is a 2007

You realy need to put a scanner on that thing check for codes and live data while cranking. There are a number of things that can cause a no start/run problem.
There is a relay and 2 fuses associated with the ficm if any is bad the ficm will not work. There is also a start relay, a run relay; engine relay any of which can also cause a no start/run. Scan it and see what is actually happening.
