I few weeks ago on the freeway my truck felt like it was cutting out, I got to work and it was barely running. My first thought was fuel filters were clogged. I changed the filters and it fired right up like nothing was wrong so I turned it off to get cleaned up, came back a few mins later and it was running like crap, but it cleared up and ran ok. Been driving for a few weeks and it runs and starts fine, seems a little down on power but nothing major. Yesterday I get off the freeway and it starts running bad again, idling rough at about 500 rpm and give it gas and nothing happens just idles like crap, turn it off then right back on and it's fine.
To me it feels like a fuel problem, I have checked ipr pressure and it's fine so it's not a hp oil leak.....that would be contant anyways, I cleaned to hfcm and it didn't seem dirty.....could the hfcm be going bad??
Truck has 69k miles, no egr....wish I had a fuel pressure gauge, no codes....any ideas?
