Turbo? Overboost?

I have a 2005 F250. It has been having some irregular boost problems I think. It only seems to do this while going up hills. I will get to about 60-65 MPH and it will kind of chug out. The boost will drop and then come back up and I will not be able to accelerate. Normally if I let off the throttle it will do the "turbo fart" and will have to start slowly applying gas again. This occurs while not under load and is worse when it is under load. It seems to be irregular. Sometimes the truck will be fine and there will be no issues. This is my first diesel so any help is appreciated.
