New to the Diesel world...Please Help!!

Hi All,

I just bought a 04 F350 with a 6.0 a month ago. When I first got it it ran fine but I have watched the mpg go from 11 down to 9.1 and started feeling a slight miss. After the truck warms up first gear feels as if no power but once it kicks to 2nd powers picks up and turbo start spooling. No smoke out of the tail pipe and I checked FICM and its good at 48v. I have also changed the fuel filters and still no improvement. The only after market item on the truck is the air intake.

Any Ideas?

Without a monitor it's just guessing.
