fourth serpintine belt this year

Don't know what going on here but I'm going through belts like crazy. New tensioner and idler put on a month ago. When I have the truck running and I look at the belt from the pass side, down below the crank pully, bottom one has a slight wobble. Not completley solid like the others. Stupid question but is that normal?

No not Normal. Serp belts and pullys have to be true. They are not like the old v belts that could slap and twist around with no big problems.

Not normal, but maybe this also has something to do with your water pump problem.

Sent from my phone that somebody didn't help me get.

with a water pump hub not being true it's much easier to throw a belt because the pulley is smooth.

grab a hold of your fan and see if any of it moves in and out. If the water pump has play in it you should know pretty quickly
