Old faithful

Last Monday power steering pump died, resulting in no power brakes, Wed serpintine belt snapped driving, bad tensioner, Thursday new power steering pump died again (warrantied) Friday Bullet Proof Diesel water pump started leaking. New one goes in tommorow.

Thought I had this truck squared away! Guess not!

I have been cracking the degas bottle cap at night so I don't loose coolant because of the water pump. I noticed my bottle doesn't have much pressure, even if I crack the crack immediatly after shutting it off. I guess I never paid attention to how much pressure it has. How much pressure should be releasing? Its just a slight hiss.

It should be a big hiss.. Just did mine to see and it hissed big for a good 3 secs.
