Glow plugs 3 of 8 are coding bad

2004 6.0 just coded 3 of 8 glow plugs are bad, how hard are they to change and what's the average price to pick these up at a local mom and pop parts house vs the dealer, I have resently had the high pressure oil pump replaced, 2 injectors replaced, a EGR bypass installed after stock one cracked and got coolant into the injectors only has 136k. How difficult a change out of the 3 bad ones and if not done right away will it cause the others to start to go bad? Was coding insufficient EGR flow, and now can't smog, went to try to get smog and EGR code didnot come up but light was on so coded 3 glow plugs

It's more or less like changing spark plugs. The harness can be tough to remove. I would only suggest motorcraft, like $8-12, a piece. Check out youtube.
