Something strange

Hey I was wondering somthing. I have 5900 miles on my 2006 F-250 and noticed a strange noise one it gets warm. It sounds like it is coming from the passenger side and for use of a better word sounds like a vibration when the transmission is engaged. It has not done it until now and I just completed a 300 mile haul with my travel trailer.
It doesn't fluctuate with RPM's. I was wondering if I am being paranoid or could my turbo be acting up.
Fuel economy is at 14.5 and the boost gauge is moving as it always did.
Could it be bad fuel? This tank is almost empty and I am going to fuel up tonight. I have noticed a little more black smoke when I get on it lately but it is just usually a puff and it goes right away.
Any input would be appriciated.
I have no mods (chips, programmers, or exhaust) it is stock.
Thanks

would a "drone or moan" discribe the noise???

Im guessing its a resonance from the turbo pedistal. there is an updated pedestal on a TSB for a similar concern. Its just vibration being turned into noise, not harmfull, but annoying....

Thanks Marc, that would be it. It is kind of a droaning, moaning, that I thought was a loose panel or seat. As long as it isn't going to hurt anything I guess I will leave it be for now, until my next sched maintenance in 5K.
Thanks,
