Head Gasket

How Long Apx. does it take for a tech. form a dealer to change a leaky head gasket. Mine leaks very little on the driver side down on to the bell houseing it is still under warrenty but just want to have some type of defense if they (dealership ) busts my balls. I just purchased the F350 in July and put less then 2000 miles on it. I know gasket will be apx 100 bucks and at least 5 hrs work?

never seen one leak externally , and if its under warranty , take it in and let them diagnose it , i would say it would be more like an egr cooler to oil cooler hose leaking in the valley and running back than a head gasket issue

what he said, if its under warranty, let them take care of it... The connector he mentioned does leak more than head gaskets externally but I have seen head gaskets leak externally. If it is your head gaskets, expect down time of at least two days if they arent swamped and have all the parts in stock, which are two BIG factors..
