What should the PSI be in the degas bottle of a 6.0 with new Head Gaskets and oil cooler?

I was always told it shuld operate and no more than 10 psi unloaded. I'm running a constant 16-18 under normal driving situations... No puking or coolant loss tho.

Make sure the degas bottle is not overfilled... The MIN line if the FULL hot.

I read your story and im sure you have bad HGs just like my trk did with your same symptoms. Its just your gaskets are not that bad yet.. I would almost bet money on it. 16-18 constant means problems..
