Just changed my first coolant filter and NO goo or sand!

I installed a new coolant filter system about 800 miles ago in preparation for a coolant flush.

I still have the Ford Gold in the system and the truck has 29,000 miles on it. I removed my first coolant filter and much to my surprise, it's completely clean! Nothing in there-- filter looked new.

Anyone else remember experiencing that? After reading all the posts on various websites, I was expecting something. I know this is probably good news, but it surprised me.

As with anything manufactured the quality of the product and work is directly preportional to what kind of day the worker is haveing. Apparently yours was haveing a great day. Glad for ya casting sand is pretty had to get out of a block useually.
