turbo upgrade, what do ya think?

04 f-250psd 6.0L, It has the original turbo on it and I just did the studs and egr delete and am thinking of going with a new turbo. mine is not working properly anymore and I dont want to bother cleaning it. So I want to upgrade. Anyone here upgraded to a better turbo? if so let me know what kind and how its working for you, I want lots of low end grunt but reasonable mid to top. thanks.

What kind of tuner you running.A GT3788va is a good upgrade and gives you alittle room to play with one size bigger injectors.

I have a bullydog and am not satisfied with it. I want to pick up a new one but not sure what kind to get for my psd. but i dont really understand what you mean by the turbo you mentioned, who is this made by? I will google it. what tuner works well with the fords, i know bullydog was good for the ram, but I cant even black smoke with the power level up on extreme, I am going to sell that tuner once i find a buyer for it. what tuner do you recommend?

Go to performancetruckparts.com and check out the powermax under 6.0 turbo section. There are graphs and specs on the turbo. Its a direct replacement, the turbo madpower recommended should be checked out also.

For tuner go to sctflash.com and if you're not in a hurry find a used sct x3 with unlocks and get custom tunes for your truck.
