Smokey Paranoia

I think I am just paranoid but occasionally, when I start my truck it will burp up a little puff of smoke. It clears up immediately. Its just a little puff. Lately it only seems to do it after sitting at work. It gets up to normal temp on the way to work and then sits in the parking lot for 9 hours. When I go to start it, the ECT and EOT are in the 90's still. My coolant was low a couple days ago but I drained it a week or two ago so i think that was it just filling up. I dont have any puking or anything. Im thinking its the EGR cooler on its last leg...

Any ideas?

mine will haze pretty good at start up when it used to just be a puff like you describe. It's enough to make me wonder, I think I'm going to be doing an injector pretty soon.

a puff at start up is completely normal due to the combustion chamber being cold. just keep an eye on your coolant level.

That's what I thought because it would smoke for a few seconds in the colder days and clear up immediately. Is it possible for the chambers to be cold/have condensation if the temps are still mid 90's? I am in Florida, our humidity is retarded high...

yes definitely. the engine needs heat (more than atmospheric heat) to properly combust all of the fuel. naturally the first fuel injected isn't going to fully burn

It just dawned on me, could the smoke be related to the fact that I have 3 bad glow plugs?
