I THINK I BLEW MY TURBO!!!!!!! ANY INPUT?

SO MY WIFE AND I WERE DRIVING DOWN THE FREEWAY ABOUT 70MPH AND I HEARD A BIG POP BOOST WENT TO 0 AND STARTED BURNING CRAZY AMOUNTS OF OIL! OTHER THAN THAT HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO DRIVE IT HOME ANOTHER 30 MILES AND THE ENTIRE WAY HOME THE OIL PRESSURE WAS FINE,OIL AND COOLANT TEMP NORMAL AS WELL. HOWEVER THE EGT WAS ABOUT 250* HOTTER THAN NORML? ANY SUGGESTIONS? IS THE TURBO FOR SURE BLOWN OR IS THERE SOMETHING POSSIBLY ELSE WRONG WITH IT LIKE A SENSOR OR SOMEHTING? ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED

Check all of your Turbo boots. Like.mentioned above, it sounds like you blew a hose off. Check them all at the inter cooler and the Turbo.

sorry for being a noob but what does cac stand for? if your refering to intercooler pipes they are both metal...

Those would be the pipes he is referring too. Do you happen to have any gauges or an edge cts? Anything that can check turbo psi? I would remove all of the inter cooler hoses and check for rips. Mine coming off the turbo had a 2 inch gash in it.

yes i have an edge and the boost is 0 even at like 2k rpm i will pull the pipes tomorrow and hopefully that is the problem

Hmm that is kinda interesting, I haven't heard of one just going and not making any boost at all. It sounds like you have a torn boot or maybe your inter cooler blew out. Check all the tubes for tears and what not and let us know what you find
