head work

Anyone have any machining done to heads? Ive got a set that machine shop is telling me need to have more than .006 taken off and they would have to do some valve grinding after machine work. I need input on this thanks

The most that you can take off these heads is .008

But, yes they can be machined

So it would be worth trying to get them machined? Running studs, powermaxx turbo, sct, and php atlas 80 tuned ficm i just wanna be sure not to have any contact between components thts all

I would...people machine them all the time... Just make sure they pressure test them and magnaflux them for cracks...Hairline cracks are hardly noticeable but will show up later down the road

Ok thanks for the input they passed pressure testing so should be good to go there thanks again
