Weird "cut off noise" at WOT?

Hey guys,

Names Taylor. I'm new to diesels, but have worked on and modded many cars and own a 10 second 92 Eagle Talon I do all my own work other then machining.
Anyway now to the problem at hand. I just bought a 2005 F-250 with 70k miles. One previous owner. It is mildly lifted (3 inches) with 35" high 16" wide Dick Cepek tires. It was all stock other then the lift and tires. The day after I brought it home I put a AFE stage 2 intake and build a TB 4" exhaust. Runs AMAZING! Couldn't be happier really haha. But I've noticed at WOT I can hear like a popping or cutting out noise coming from the exhaust. I've been lurking on here for a while just reading, and finally made my account last night.
I'm wondering what could cause this? Is it possible I'm not getting enough fuel pressure?

Thanks guys!

-Taylor

Yeap.

There are alot of possibilities. You need to get either and EDGE or a Scanguage. Something to monitor the trucks vitals. Search fuel pressure guage in the 6.0 section and a how to for that will list. There a ton of information here and alot of guys who can help.

But the question you asked in literally like walking into a really busy dealership. One that deals with high end stuff, walking past all the FAQ stuff and booklets out on the shelves, going to the desk and saying... I have a problem. Not sure what it is... but somethings... iffy.

I did it too.

Search around for threads, "odd turbo noise at WOT".... youll find others out there, talk to them.. get a bunch together youll narrow down the problem area and some tech guys will jump in. Have you read the "what to know before buying a 6.0" sticky. if not read it .

Just passing along info to get you some results.
