Few Questions after running AE
So I got my AutoEnginuity today and ran a few test on the 06 6.0. I was pretty sure I had a bad injector as it was running a little rough and some bucking when trying to accelerate while rolling, as well as low on power. After running a power balance it shows all cylinders are balanced. It is/was way to windy to hear the buzz tes,t so i'll have to do that later. I really didn't show any codes, besides P2285, which is due to a HPO leak and a warm engine. I know I have a HPO leak that I am pretty sure is a injector o-ring.
Now for the confusing part. When I looked at the onboard test results it shows a misfire. At first it showed it on all cylinders, then just cylinder 1, then just 2, then none, then all again. I got those different results by refreshing it. I am new to AE and really need to figure out what is going on with my truck. I am at a lose right now. |

Since they are comeing and going I woud suspect a wireing issue from the FICM. Chafes or a loose plug. While engine is running jiggle the wireing harness from the FICM if the engine changes up how it runs thats yer problem.

I seem to run rough all the time. I was surprised nothing showed up on the balance test. It runs like there is a slight miss. I know it isn't a complete miss because I isolated each injector and you could tell when they cut out and back in.
So which one of the plugs on the FICM is the output to the injectors? |

Okay So I took my FICM out and made sure the connectors were good and connected well, they appeared to be.
So I did a little data logging on a short drive. Ran like sh!& the whole time. Anyway the desired and the actual ICP are way off anything above 1200psi and they are no were close. I am pretty sure I have an injector to oil rail leak on the passenger side, or maybe 2 for all I know, I am wondering if that is the reason I see such a difference? Also would this cause the bucking and jerking when trying to accelerate, the low ICP?
