Mild smoke and zero turbo whistle after uploading a new tune
It was about 10 degree this morning and I decided to try my Economy tune. I loaded it up and proceeded to start the truck. I immediately got a puff of black smoke and then a decent amount of greyish smoke; smelled very rich. I also didn't hear even the slightest turbo whistle which was obvious with a straight pipe. Otherwise the motor sounded normal.
I shut it down after 20-30 seconds and reverted back to the Street tune. Started the truck and exact same thing happened!
I let it run for a minute or two but never got any codes and the turbo never did wind up.
I was confused at this point so I returned it to stock. Cranked it up and no smoke. Turbo came alive and went through its normal sweep. Drove about 180 miles today with no issues.
What happened here? I've driven with the Street tune for a month or so and never had an issue. It started up fine 12 hours before with the Street tune at -5 wind chill.
