New to diesels smoking 6.0 powerstroke

Hello all, my wife recently purchased an 04 F250 for me. Its got the 6.0 powerstroke with about 141000 on the truck. Its got some issues that I would like to know more about.

1) it sometimes lets out a little white smoke while driving, no other symptoms.

2) its got a strange vibrations or harmonic around 2000rpms no other symptoms

I plan on doing the EGR delete, and possibly head gasket and head stud replacement.
Any other recommendations?

Does anyone have a recommendation for an Arizona based company to do the work on this truck ?
Thanks

Don't have a 6.0L, but you're in the right forum!!

Not sure what response you'll get, but here is a link to a forum for Arizona members. Perhaps they could address the shop question.

Well it looks like a bad egr cooler need to pull the egr valve and see if it is damp or wet (coolant) is the degasing tank low on coolant the full cold mark is the add mark cold. If bad must change both the egr cooler and oil cooler need gauges the ones in the dash are a joke when they move it's to late. These guys will show you how to pull the egr valve, little raw.

Thanks guys.
With the EGR delete bulletproof advises to go with their aftermarket cooler vs. a delete. Is there really any power difference or is it just a matter of personal preference?
