do the blue spring update, switch to 5w-40 synthetic oil. id also get a fuel pressure gauge mounted in the cab. low fuel pressure, which kills injectors is common in many of the 6.0s on the road. the blue spring updates that to a good number. the synthetic should clear up some sticiton if u have any. if it helps but doesnt cure it, try some rev-x.

That Lucas oil treatment has caused a LOT of grief for 6.0 owners in the past. There have been reports of it causing oil foaming that leads to injector performance problems. A 6.0 uses oil to power the injectors at 500 to 3500 PSI. The ONLY additive I would use in my oil would be REV-X. Some say Hot Shot Secret is ok , but I wouldn’t use it in my truck.

agree with both. lucas additive is great in semis and all those other diesels, but not in these heui powered powerstrokes.
