Power loss
On some mornings when I first start my truck, it will not rev higher that about 1100 rpm's. It does not do this on all mornings and temps have been in the 60's to 70's. After it warms up for about 5 minutes, it runs just fine. During this time, it will move on level surface but will not pull an incline. it slowly improves over about 5 minutes. Any ideas?
My truck is an '03 F350, 6.0L 4X4 CC DRW with auto transmission. 91K miles. |

sounds like you dont have enough high preasure oil to fire the injectors

Would this be an intermitent problem? Only happens occasionally.

See if you have any codes stored.

it could be the vanes in the turbo stuck but I would think that you would be able to rev in nuetral... it could be the injector preasure regulator sticking

I can rev in neutral, but slowly.

Took it to the shop. They ckecked it out. Ford had a new program and they reflashed it. Runs better than ever. I hope this is it.
