Ball Joints

I had all my ball joints replaced on my truck 1 year and 1 month ago. I take my truck into ford to have a recall done and they tell me that I have bad ball joints. I thought they were trying to screw me especially when they told me I had to replace my fuel filters for $140 when I changed them myself for $30 last week. Took it too a good shop and sure enough the upper left ball joint was bad. I saw it for myself. Has any one else had this much trouble with the ball joints on their truck????

Thanks,
Nick

What degree cams you got on there? If they put 2 degree or more on with your lift that might cause early wear.

I just used a drop and hanger lift which just lowers the axel straight down.

Ball Joints

super duty ball joints are bad for going out around 75 to 100,000 miles. However. I have seen many lifted super duties with bigger then stock tires go through them in 20 to 40,000 and one as low as 8,000 miles. So take that into consideration.
