Transmission Line Fitting - Broken
I just noticed this today, seems it has been like this for a while.
There are no leaks at all, but how risky is this? I'm thinking about just putting a band clamp over it for now. I don't think many shops (at least around me) have to machine to do this fitting, or is there a tool/kit I can get to do it myself? Last edited by wclawson; 09-18-2011 at 08:51 AM. |

cut the collar the rest of the way off and put a worm clamp over it. you'll be fine

Is that all it really needs? I know its just for the cooler, but I thought those fittings were for high pressure.

can't be more than a couple PSI. there are barbs underneath where the hose is. with the collar as far off as it is if it was high pressure it would have came off a long time ago
