03 6.0 no power
when i rev moter to half or full black smokes and misses and has no power. starts and idles fine

See this thread. Exact same issue sounds like:
6.0 running bad then good Pull EGR Valve, Clean with a toothbrush and your solvent of choice. Careful not to destroy the o-rings more than they already are, wipe down with engine oil, reinstall. See if it makes a difference. If it's too fargone, replace it completely.
