trouble code P0335, CKP sensor circuit malfunction. what is this?

Month back I was geting some rough or hard starts, checked my FICM and was in mid to high 30 then hitting low 40. Had Ford replace ficm under warranty and they also reflashed my ecumenical to vxcf9 strategy. I miss my vxcf4. Anyways after I put my tunes back on sometimes the truck will crank sound like its running but not ad though it is getting enough fuel to fully crank and run, then it dies. Takes about three tries yhen it fires right up. Never did thus till I hot the new flash. Today it did it again but my CTS read this p0335 code. Any hints or ideas?
