Starts and then dies when pushing pedal

The truck always starts fine. Then about 1-2 times a week after you start it and give it just a little pedal it dies. Restart it and same thing. Repeat this procedure about 10 times and finally it will run. Sometimes if you give it fuel slowly it will run rough and finally smooth out, but you have to keep your foot on the pedal while driving. If you let up off the pedal and then push it again the truck will die. When it does this it throws both a cam and crank code. I read somewhere on here that it could be a drop in fuel pressure that causes the cam and crank codes. Anyone have any idea as to what could be causing this?
