06 E350 6.0L Front Engine Cover

Posted this on another forum, need some serious help.....2 things: 1) Does the intake manifold need to be taken off to remove the front Engine cover???
2) How does the sleeve for the front crank seal come off?? Do I need the special tool, and if so, does anybody have the part number and how I can get the tool?? Or is there another way to remove it??
