Starting problem
I have 2007 6.0PSD. In the mornings my truck has been taking 5 to 8 seconds of cranking to start. only in the mornings tho when I start it to go to work. But after that it is fine all day. Any reason it would start taking longer to start??? it only getting down to 78+or- every night. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have any trouble codes? Have you checked your glow plug system. Glow plug problems are rare on a 6.0, however they do happen. What mods or repairs have you done to the truck.

no codes at all. havent checked glow plugs dont know how. ONLY thing i have done is SCT with innovative custom tune. I have had the tune on it bout 6 months but this problem just started past 2 weeks.
