not enough boost

i got an 06 psd with a diablo programmer and straight pipes when i turn it all the way up to level three is only hit 20 psi. is that normal or is there sumtin wrong?

thats what i was talking about so does mine but when i turn the chip all the way up it only hits 20

my 05 psd hit just over 30#'s stock, now with my sct it only hits 20 on a hot tune. this issue cant totally be explained, but trucks act differently to programmers. i'm glad my truck only hits 20#'s cause its fast and less chance i'll have of breaking something running lower boost.

Check the cleanliness of your intake as well. Restricted air in = low boost..

aight thanx and good point about it being safer it does run good as hell but the boost i thought was being werid

yeah every truck is different, i was hoping for 35+ with my sct but not even close. its okay though i cant complain about the power at 20. i just imagine if it was hitting 35! i'd be at the dealership negotioating table so fast trying to get headstuded.

yeah true that mines held up very very good no problems at all with 46k on it. i guess i got a good one but i im sure with the other mods i want it will need headstuds. i just need to find someone that does it around my area
