High Boost Pressure
Ok so took the truck for a drive when i let off the gas and it sounded like somne just farted under the hood. pulled the vgt sensour out there was no crud on the end of it. wondering if any one has any advise on fixing it? not realy in a position to be buying a new turbo at the moment so if i can get this one working right i will. any help is greatly apreacheated

Sounds like a turbo fart... its normal

trobubl is its doing it all the time. i can give it a shot of gas in the shop and it will do it our other 2 6l only do it when plowing snow. allso it just started doing it and this truck workes pulling hevey loads most days in the spring and fall and has never done it beffor.

pulled the turbo this morning and am in the middal of cleaning it up. the unision ring was seased with the vaines closed.

cleaned the turbo and reinstalled it truck runs like a dream naw

i follewed there instructions. i started at 12 and i started the truck for a test drive at 5. so dosent realy take to long to do. only peace of advise is get an aluminum block and a good hammer for taking the housing apart mine took a lot of perswysion to come apart. othere than that is pritty trat foward. i allso cleaned all the crap out of were the vgt solanoid goes in. pulled the plug by the oil feed line on the turbo pulled the sensor and blew brake clean and air throuh and that cleaned it up nicley. if u have any questions just pm me
