Power loss

When coasting say down hill or on level road engine starts cutting off, and back on as though it is running out of gas, similar thing has happened when pushing the vehicle hard. Once this happens it will either die, in which most of the time it starts back up or like yesterday in a small town south of Lubbock it didn't start. A couple mechanics at a shop for big rigs worked on it this morning, Fuel filters were complete NO GO's so we replaced those got it fired up seemed good till about 10 miles later and problem occurred again...if it doesn't die it looses power, no further acceleration and pretty rough. Currently left it a Stokers Plus in Lubbock just hoping to get some ideas before they call me tomorrow. My first diesel and until yesterday my favorite vehicle...

sounds kinda like a fule pump to me but i might be wrong. i know one of our gas trucks would do the same thing just beffor the pump quit.

you will want to take it to a shop that knows 6.0's these things are a different beast than what a regular mech knows
