Swapping out 4.10 rear to 4.30 rear
I am new to snowbirding with a 2005 F350 4x2 dually with 6.0 and a 4.10 rear with a rather large toy hauler. After loading up and checking weight I am a little over on GCVWR. After checking on Ford's 2005 towing guide I should be ok if I change out my rear to a 4.30 with my tow boss. Is there anything else I need to do other than change those gears? Can anyone recommend a resonable place to get it done in Arizona in Jan or Feb 2011?

No gear change will make you legal..and a 4.5% change in gearing isn't really going to help towing IMO..I'd get a SCT with custom tunes..would help more.

You should be fine with your current setup.
IMHO you should have gauges in your truck since you will be towing. EOT, ECT, EGT and FP are a must |
