2005 F-250 Battery Leaking, Under Warranty?

I was under the hood yesterday and noticed that the driver's side battery was leaking (pos terminal had battery corrosion fuzz and the tray had fuzz around the battery). I haven't pulled it yet, if the dealer will do it under warranty, so I don't know if the battery is leaking or it is cracked.

Should a fairly new battery (truck purchased new November 05) be covered under warranty?

Thanks for your thoughts/experiences

I believe it's covered under the 3/36 warranty, if not in full it should at least be pro-rated

Welcome to the site and yes cj41foley is right, it should be under warranty, if not you might have to pay alittle out of pocket for the pro-rate its up to your stealership though.....good luck
